You may know Emanuela as the enigmatic singer of The Hillbilly Moon Explosion, the girl with a razor blade and an ambivalent role in the murder ballads of the alt-rockabilly cult combo. Low-slung fuzz guitar in hand, she’s an icon to fans from Indonesia to Mexico.
On October the 17th 2025, Emanuela Hutter will releases a brand new Solo Album ‘Goose Bumps’ on Chicago based Hi-Style Records, a label that digs Rock ‘N’ Roll, Rockabilly, Rhytham & Blues, Jazz, Country and anything that falls between these genres.
The new record is produced by Jimmy Sutton, founder of Hi-Style Records who has strived to stay true to the heart of this music and make his label a haven for those who cherish the rich tradition of roots music, and at the same time, break new ground. As well as producing Jimmy also plays guitar on the new album.
The Water Rats is superbly located in what is the increasingly vibey music centre of King’s Cross with unmatched transport links for London and beyond.
